personal statement

Having a sense of connection is important to our journey as we begin the process of healing. While working together, we will use a variety of techniques and theories that are unique for your needs. Some of the therapeutic styles I utilize include cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment. My approach is holistic and client-centered with a focus on social justice. Often times, healing can feel like a lonely or even overwhelming. Your journey to wellness doesn’t have to be alone. As I become a member of your journey, we can conquer the fear of healing and wellness together.

Areas of Focus: Anger, depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, and adult/child trauma from a cultural perspective.
