Nicole Roberts graduated from Argosy University Denver in 2011 with a master's in counseling. She became fully licensed in the state of Colorado as an addictions counselor in 2014 and as a professional counselor in 2016. Her existential crisis led to a second career in counseling. Her professional experience beyond the counseling realm as well as her journey as both client and counselor has fostered in her the importance of comprehensive and realistic approaches in supporting clients through difficult transitions and debilitating symptoms associated with trauma, depression, and anxiety. She has worked as a professional counselor in a wide array of clinical settings. Her approaches are integrative, evidence-based, practical, and informed by each client's resources and beliefs. She works with adults and couples.

personal statement

My passion is providing sanctuary for those bowed low by pressures of day-to-day life, those blindsided by life-altering tragedies and transitions. With kindness and candor, I provide a sacred space to grieve and seek solace and solutions that work for individuals and couples. My approach is person-centered and strength-based. However, please be prepared to be respectfully challenged because meaningful growth hardly ever occurs in quiet comfort.

Areas of focus: Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Couples, Relationship Dynamics, Trauma
