Grant Funded Services

Overview

The Therapist of Color Collaborative is a proud recipient of the Community Crime Victim Services grant program created by the Colorado General Assembly through House Bill 18-1409.  Through this grant we are able to provide  no-cost mental health counseling services to individuals and their immediate family members that qualify and have been impacted by a crime.

Some examples of victimization include, but not limited to:

  • Childhood physical / sexual abuse
  • Adult physical / sexual assault
  • Domestic Violence
  • Childhood witness of Domestic Violence
  • Other violent crimes

Additionally, the Collaborative has received other grant funding in partnership with The Center for African American Health and Caring 4 Denver that allows us to expand access and provide care to individuals that are experiencing financial difficulties at no-cost to individuals who qualify. More specifically, these individuals must identify as a member of a “historically underserved population, namely people of color, men, and young adults'' to qualify. Please connect with a member of our intake team and we will help to determine if you qualify for a specific program to begin your journey.
