Tamika Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Addiction Counselor I, and a 200 hour certified yoga teacher. Tamika works with teens, individuals, and young adults, using evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each client. Tamika has experience working in a variety of settings with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions. Her areas of expertise include adolescent challenges, trauma, addiction, anxiety, OCD, depression, and life stressors.
I believe by creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients, they can begin to discover the tools within themselves to create meaningful change. Change happens when people are given the guidance they need to compel their own strengths to realize their potential to maintain a balanced life.
